UG Admission 2023-2024: Notification 8 (Recalling of Reserved Category)

Notice regarding RECALL LIST for Admission from the reserved category
This is to notify that a good number of seats reserved for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes, Category-A (OBC-A) and Other Backward Classes, Category-B (OBC-A) remained vacant after duly entertaining all the applicants of respective categories.
While admitting students in the reserved seats, the College authority always follows the procedure prescribed under the West Bengal State Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission), Act, 2013 and the West Bengal State Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Rules, 2014 and Memorandum No. 339-Edn (CS)/OM-74L/2023, dt. 26.05.2023.
In accordance with the above mention Government Order and with the optimism to fill the remaining vacant seats reserved for EWS, SC, ST, OBC-A and OBC-B, Syamaprasad College is making all the vacant seats in reserved category available for admission once again to applicants who have applied earlier, but not taken admission.
It is hereby notified that the RECALL LIST for Admission in different subjects will be published on 28th July, 2023 at 9:00 AM. This recall list is applicable only for the reserved category applicants from Final Provisional Merit List published on 17.07.2023. Applicants are requested to complete their admission process by paying the admission fees through Online Admission Portal from 28th July, 2023 (9:00 AM) to 29th July, 2023 (9:00 PM) on priority basis.
