The Internal Complaints Committee was started on 26th February 2020 and replaced the previously existing Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee. The constitution of the Committee follows the recommendations of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
The Committee accepts and addresses grievances pertaining to incidents of Sexual Harassment on the college campus. The aggrieved person may send an email to the above-mentioned email address to document her grievance. The email may be accompanied by necessary documents (if possible). The committee will take up the redressal of such a grievance.
What constitutes sexual harassment?
Any Unwelcome
- Sexually coloured remarks
- Demand or request for sexual favours
- Physical contact or advances
- Showing pornography
- Physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature.
On receipt of complaints, the ICC may investigate and initiate necessary action.
