Dr. Sourav Chatterjee
Head Librarian
Dr. Chatterjee has B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics and he did his Masters, M.Phil and Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the University of Calcutta. He is also UGC NET qualified. He is having more than 20 publications to his credit. He is a life member of Bengal Library Association (BLA) and West Bengal College Librarians’ Association (WBCLA).
Smt. Debarati Dey Karmakar

She started her schooling at Multipurpose Government Girls’ High School and pass-out Madhyamik Examination in 2002 with first division. Then she completed 12th standard from Lake School for Girls in 2004 in the Arts stream. She got her graduation from Asutosh College with BA Hons (Journalism and Mass communication) in 2007. In 2006 she joined Volleyball Association for 6 months as a Computer operator and Back office instructor. Then worked as an Advertisement Developer in Calcutta Yellow Page for a period of one year. She had joined Syamaprasad College in the year 2008 as a Computer Operator cum Clerk.
Smt. Mitali Banerjee
Library Staff Member
She had completed B. A Hons from Burdwan University in the year 1993 and completed B.Ed from Calcutta University in the year.
Before joining her current organization she worked as a Primary Teacher at Pailan World School for 5 years.
She is having proficiency in Office suite and Photoshop.
Sri. Arup Kumar Das
Library Staff Member
He completed his schooling at National High School for boys.
He then graduated from Syamaprasad College with Honours in Accounting and Finance. He had completed his Masters in Tourism Management from Madurai Kamraj University and also have completed a course (Business English Communication) from British Council. He had completed L.L.B from Fakir Mohan University along with a certified course in Basics of Computers from ZED Computer Academy.
Working experience;
He had started his career as a Ground Staff (Trainee) in Air India and was under probation for six months. He later worked as Human Resource Officer for three years in Trustklub Consulting Pvt ltd and was also promoted thrice for his outstanding performance. Later he got appointed as Assistant to Accountant in Syamaprasad College and is presently entrusted with the development of the main and annex building library.
