The Environment Cell of Syamaprasad College is an extremely active body which spreads awareness about the Environment. Over the last one year, it has conducted seminars and webinars as well as held an essay competition to celebrate World Environment Day. The Cell with the help of its volunteers from the Environment Club has organized tree plantation on the occasion of the Vana Mahotsav Week. The Environment Cell also organises the Environment Club comprising of student members. Currently the club has around 50 members.
The Environment Cell runs an environment club with students who participate in raising awareness about environment protection and improvement.
The Cell has orgnizes several seminars and webinars, poster competition, essay competition, tree planting for Vano Mahotsav, and also publishes peer-reviewed e-book as per its activities.
