It gives me immense pleasure to welcome all the aspiring students to Syamaprasad College for the academic session 2023-2024. Syamaprasad College has, since its inception as an independent college in 1958, focussed on upholding the mission and vision of empowering every individual with Knowledge and Confidence. The institution gives due importance to academic excellence as well as to vibrant co- curricular activities. In the recent past the college has developed its infrastructure including smart class rooms, botany, zoology and psychology laboratories and also established many cells and committees to cater to the needs of students. Besides, a number of our faculty are vested with power and responsibility and head important cells such as Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Library Committee, Anti-Ragging Committee, and Sexual Harassment Committee. The Academic Sub-Committee plays a very important role in coordinating the academic curriculum of the college. Apart from the regular Bachelor degree courses in Art, Science and Commerce we also plan to introduce certain Add- On Courses from this academic session which will help the students to enhance their knowledge on the subject of their choice.

We have a team of dedicated faculty members who are experts at integrating knowledge with competitive insights and practical applications. Our students take great initiative in co curricular activities and have made us proud by winning many trophies.
